FDA Compounding Update (2024-2026)

The FDA declared the semaglutide shortage resolved on February 21, 2025 (tirzepatide in December 2024), ending the exemption that allowed mass compounding. 503A pharmacies face regulatory scrutiny for continued GLP-1 compounding, and compounded versions are not FDA-approved.Learn more

Where to buy — current prices

Compounded GLP-1 providers, compared

Online telehealth platforms that prescribe compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, ranked by price with the trust signals that actually matter: which 503A pharmacy fills your prescription, its accreditation, which states it ships to, and any FDA enforcement action. Compounded GLP-1s are not FDA-approved and are legal only through a 503A pharmacy for a documented medical need since the shortage ended in 2025.

Compounded semaglutide & tirzepatide — verified providers

How to choose a compounded GLP-1 provider safely

Check the pharmacy, not just the brand. A legitimate provider fills your prescription through a licensed, US-based, FDA-registered 503A pharmacy. Look for PCAB accreditation (via ACHC) and third-party potency testing. We publish the dispensing pharmacy in the table above wherever the provider names it on its own site.

Separate the fees. Many programs bill a subscription or consultation fee on top of the medication. The prices above are medication cost; membership fees are called out per row.

Confirm your state. Not every provider ships to every state. Verify availability before you pay.

Watch for FDA enforcement. In February 2026 the FDA sent warning letters to 30 telehealth companies over misleading compounded-GLP-1 marketing. Rows with a known warning letter are flagged. "503B" supply of these drugs is a yellow flag — outsourcing facilities are barred from compounding semaglutide and tirzepatide.

Avoid the gray market. Any site selling "research peptides," skipping a prescription, or taking payment by Venmo/Cash App is not a legitimate pharmacy. We only list prescription-requiring, openly-operating US providers.

The prices above are national mail-order programs. Local weight-loss clinics, obesity-medicine doctors, and med spas price by visit — search real providers near you, with self-pay estimates where we have them.

How we verify these prices

Every price in this tracker links to the public page it came from and carries its own verification date. An automated check runs every week: it re-reads each source page, confirms or updates the advertised price, and flags anything it cannot verify for human review. A price's "verified" date only moves when the price itself was confirmed at the source — never just because our system ran.

Channels covered: manufacturer self-pay programs (LillyDirect, NovoCare), branded telehealth, compounding pharmacies (503A/503B, labeled — compounded drugs are not FDA-approved), retail pharmacy cash prices, discount cards, manufacturer savings cards, and online pharmacies. We exclude sellers that don't require a prescription for prescription drugs and personal-importation channels, which we describe for information only.

Some outbound links on FairVisitHealth are affiliate links, and any affiliate row in the table above is labeled “Affiliate link.” Affiliate relationships never affect ordering — rows always sort by price — and we may earn a commission if you buy through them.
